AJIntS is SEEKING NULL FINDINGS!

The American Journal of Interdisciplinary Sciences (AJIntS) is looking to reward you for your failures. … that is, your failures to reject the null hypothesis.

At AJIntS, we think that all sound research can contribute to human understanding. This includes negative or null results. We also think academics ought to receive something more in return for their contribution to human knowledge than just a line on their CV.

In the spirit of these two core principles, we are holding an inaugural contest. We invite researchers to submit papers where the null hypothesis was NOT rejected. All submissions will be peer reviewed and, pending review, published in AJIntS. The papers will be judged by our editors and a panel of academics. The author(s) of the winning paper will receive a $3,000 cash prize. The second place paper will receive $1,000, and two third place papers will receive $500 each.

To enter, simply submit your paper with a null finding here and check yes when asked “Is this paper being submitted to our Null Findings contest?"

Papers must focus on a null finding to be considered. Submissions will be accepted from April 24th, 2023 until 11:59 p.m. ET on October 1st, 2023. Full contest rules are available here.
